Image Showcase: A2A P-40 Warhawk

In the midst of the devastating COVID-19 crisis, the team at A2A Simulations has kindly offered the Accu-sim P-40 Warhawk as a free gift to the community. The intent is simply to encourage individuals to stay home, stay safe, and perhaps better pass the time during isolation and/or distancing. We took the opportunity to test the aircraft and put together a brief image showcase highlighting the package.

It goes without saying that in a technical sense, the aircraft is excellent. As such, we took a closer look at the visual design elements of the aircraft.

For those unfamiliar with the type, the Curtiss P-40 Warhawk is an American single-engine, single-seat, all-metal fighter and ground-attack aircraft used extensively during World War II. The model was active with numerous military units and perhaps most famously, sported the iconic Flying Tigers shark-toothed paint scheme.

For those interested, the aircraft is still available completely free of charge via the A2A Simulations website (for FSX and Prepar3D V4).

Please note, the screenshots were captured exclusively using Prepar3D V4.5.
